The Canon RF 5.2mm F2.8L DUAL FISHEYE Lens allows you to capture the world in virtual reality. This is a compact, stereoscopic L-series RF lens that is capable of 180° VR capture, when using compatible high-resolution, full-frame, RF mount cameras such as the EOS R5.*

The RF 5.2mm features a compact, single mount design that ensures a quick and easy setup for professional stereoscopic 180° VR capture.
The lens produces a stereoscopic 190° field of view giving you a more immersive experience. This is achieved with two offset circular fisheye images that are perfectly synchronised and recorded side-by-side onto a single Full Frame sensor.
You will need to use a compatible high resolution, full-frame, RF mount camera, such as the EOS R5*, in combination with Canon’s powerful EOS VR Utility**/plug-in** to process for your final edit with no additional stitching required.

Two UD elements
The lens consists of dual fisheye lenses and utilises two UD elements per lens to correct for aberrations and to ensure high-quality image capture. The lenses have been coated in Canon’s special SWC coating that helps to reduce ghosting and flare, even in backlit conditions.
Perfect for low-light shooting
This is a perfect lens for low-light shooting thanks to its fast f2.8 aperture. The lens also features Dual EMD (Electro-Magnetic-Diaphragm) units which help to accurately synchronise exposure and precise control of the aperture between the two left and right images.
Rugged L-series build and weather resistant
The RF 5.2mm f2.8L has been designed with the professional in mind and the demanding conditions that they may find themselves in. Like all L-series lenses, it is dust and splash resistant and features a fluorine coating that helps to repel water and dirt on the surface of the lens.
Precise exposure control
The Canon fisheye lens features a rear-mounted gelatin filter holder for pre-cut ND gels. This allows the user to precisely control light levels when working in bright conditions.
